A military kid who moved around the country growing up, I have always been searching for constants in my life. Things that would never change among all the constantly shifting gears. So I created characters, stories like the movies and T.V. shows that had given me comfort in times of fear and uncertainty.
I want to be able to bring that same comfort to others, in hopes to inspire them to create and to give them a sense of constant that I had always been looking for.
I am currently studying Dramatic Writing (DWRI) at the Savannah College of Art and Design, alongside a Storyboarding minor. Being able to know the lingo of my industry is a huge goal, and I chase the experience as much as I can.
I currently serve on the DWRI Revisions Team, editing scripts for SCAD Film Seniors to help them push their vision out of the box and to hit beyond the marks they thought possible. This team role is offered to top DWRI students who excel in writing, editing, and teamwork within the department and are selected by the chair.
I also serve as SCAD DWRI Ambassador to represent the Dramatic Writing body, as well as the Savannah Campus, at SCAD's Annual T.V.Fest. This opportunity allows students to network with industry professionals, attend QnA sessions led by show runners, executives, and actors from across the field.
The ultimate goal of my career path is to become a showrunner for animated television, being able to share experiences with creatives from all over the world. Being able to dabble in editing, storyboarding, sound design, acting, and concept art has been a huge joy and I wish to pursue working alongside these paths to create a project that will bring all of us together, to give us that constant.
